Jen Thong has significant experience in the field of Insurance & financial planning since 2002. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Engineering & Economics from prestigious University of Oxford, but turned his back on an Engineering career and ventured into financial services.

In a career spanning 18 years covering insurance sales, marketing and distribution, he has qualified for numerous accreditations and awards in the organisations that he has been engaged with, including Overseas Conventions for 12 consecutive years.

He is also a qualified and licensed Financial Planner by Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). He holds Registered Financial Planner (RFP) and Shariah Registered Financial Planner (Shariah RFP) designation from Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC).

Currently practicing as a Licensed Financial Planner, he is a specialist in sourcing suitable coverage solutions from numerous Life Insurance companies.

At the same time, he has enjoyed the privilege of giving talks about financial planning subjects at corporate organisations, medical conferences and financial planning career opportunities at universities.
